Work Schedule:	Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This
position may require time beyond the normal working day to adequately
meet job demands.

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Mental Health Services Program Director performs functions
necessary to fulfill the mission of WITCO as a not for profit company
providing services for individuals with disabilities. The Director is
responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the
community based Mental Health Service progam. The Director performs
executive functions including budget management and strategic
planning. The Director maintains responsibility for the health and
safety of all staff and consumers participating in the Mental Health
Services program. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
•	Obtain resources and materials necessary to facilitate the 
delivery
of services specified in the plans of each person served.
•	Supervise and train Mental Health specialists in developing,
implementing, 
evaluating, and revising plans for persons served.
•	Serve as WITCO representative to referral agencies in all 
matters
pertaining to community based mental health services.
•	Maintain communication with all members of the 
interdisciplinary
teams for persons served including but not limited to primary care
providers, psychiatrists, counselors, parents, ancillary personnel,
schools and other agencies regarding concerns and program services. 
•	Maintain program in compliance with accreditation standards 
and
regulatory agencies.
•	Maintain responsibility for the safety of persons served and 
staff supervised, and assure that all program sites are maintained 
in a safe and healthy manner. 
•	Prepare monthly outcome reports, other surveys, and 
management reports, and continue to develop and implement a quality 
assurance program. 
•	Maintain contact with all referral sources to evaluate 
services, to solicit referrals, and take action to correct program 
deficiencies as needed. 
•	Prepare annual budget and manage Mental Health Services in
accordance with Board approved budget and provide monthly billing
documentation. 
•	Interview, hire, supervise, train, evaluate, counsel, and 
discipline program staff. 
•	Make public speeches and presentations on behalf of WITCO and
participate as an active member of civic and professional 
organizations. 
•	Advocate for the rights and protection of persons served from
verbal, mental, physical and sexual abuse. 
•	Participate in all fund raising events sponsored by or held 
for WITCO. 
•	Attend and actively participate in meetings as required. 
•	Attend training sessions, workshops, and conferences. 
•	Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures promulgated 
by the Board of Directors and the president and Chief Executive 
Officer. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
•	Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
•	Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Masters Social 
Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage 
and Family Therapist, Certified Psychiatric Nurse (RN), Licensed 
Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Nurse, R.N, Licensed 
Psychologist,Licensed Physician or Psychiatrist
•	Experience with preparing and written materials and reports 
and maintaining record keeping system.
•	Basic computer skills.
•	Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history 
check.
•	Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and 
excellent driving record.

SUPERIOR QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Knowledge of Idaho Basic and Enhanced Mental Health Service 
Provisions.
•	Ability to provide Continuing Education training for staff.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical requirements of this position include: ability to lift 
up to 20 pounds and perform repetitive motions in an office setting.
