Sales Representative
Alloway Lighting is seeking an outside sales representative to sell
the company’s products and energy saving solutions. This is an
opportunity for the right person who has an entrepreneurial spirit
and
is aggressive in their sales efforts. This position will be
accountable for both selling and servicing customers. The sales
representative will be accountable for:
Selling products and services to commercial accounts
• Ability to work closely with non-sales people to communicate
pipeline and activity status
• Successfully presenting quotes and proposals and gaining new
business
• Identifying and targeting new customers
• Identifying opportunities within client base
• Maintaining detailed sales and contact records
Providing service to customer base
• Providing best in class service to customer base
• Ability to forge strong relationships with customer base
• Ability to provide a wide range of lighting solutions and
services
Ideal Candidate should possess the following skills:
• Track record attracting new clients and generating new
business
annually
• Comfort with, and a proven track record of making cold calls in
order to generate appointments
• Ability to get past the gatekeeper and reach top decision makers -
-
then, get them interested in moving forward
• Track record targeting small- to mid-sized businesses
• Ability to follow up with prospects in order to develop the
relationship over time and convert them to clients
• Ability to work closely with non-sales people to communicate
pipeline and activity status
Candidate must be professional and presentable and enjoy interacting
with customers. We are seeking confident candidates that can interact
with customers and close sales deals. An outgoing, positive and
service minded personality is a must. We provide a fast paced

Minimum requirements:
Minimum 2 yr post high school education or relevant industry
experience
Knowledge of lighting a definite plus
Ability to bring existing business relationships/networks
